Canada is a country located in North America that shares its southern border with the USA.

During the second war between the Rulers and the Monarchs, eight gigantic S-Rank gates spawned in eight different locations around the world, with the one that spawned in Canada being the largest of these eight gates. Realizing that the remaining three Monarchs, along with their armies, would eventually invade the human world through these gates, Sung Jinwoo warned the public to get as far as they possibly could from these gates, as they wouldn't survive against whatever came through.

Although most people heeded Jinwoo's warning, a large portion of the Canadian population did not, primarily because the Canadian S-Rank Hunter Jay Mills arrogantly dismissed Jinwoo's warning and announced that he'd stay behind to fight. This foolish decision ultimately resulted in the death of millions of innocent people when Antares entered the human world through the Canadian S-Rank gate, used his Breath of Destruction to kill everyone in the surrounding area (including Jay), and then ordered his army to raze the entire country to the ground.

In the revised timeline, since Jinwoo killed Antares long before he got the chance to invade the human world, Canada was never destroyed. After the occurrence of the Cataclysm, Jay was chosen by the Canadian government as their representative as the World Hunter Association.
