Summary[]
Jinwoo is thrown across the throne room, crashing into a pillar, surrounded by endless knights without his Teleportation Stone. Exhausted, out of mana, and physically drained, he fights back with his bare hands, refusing to give up despite being pushed to his limits. As he battles, memories of being called the "Weakest Hunter of all Mankind" haunt him, and the mocking voices of his former comrades echo in his mind. Struggling to stay focused, he's knocked to his knees by a sword and hammer strike.
As Jinwoo faces despair, familiar figures from his past, including Song Chi-Yul and Lee Joohee, appear, urging him to stop forcing himself and consider giving up. A chilling vision of his former self, embodying his doubts and fears, confronts him, criticizing his efforts and tempting him to surrender and abandon the fight.
Plot Details[]
Jinwoo is hurled across the throne room, crashing hard into a pillar. Surrounded by an endless horde of knights and without his Teleportation Stone, he's pushed to the brink of exhaustion and desperation. With no mana left for his skills and fatigue overwhelming him, Jinwoo fights back with whatever strength remains, relying solely on his bare hands. His stamina dwindles, his body drenched in sweat, and his hands are cut and bloodied, yet he refuses to give up. Knight after knight falls, but they keep coming, relentless.
As he battles on, memories of being labeled the "Weakest Hunter of all Mankind" haunt him. The mocking voices of his former comrades, Kim Sangshik and Park Beom-Shik, echo in his mind, as if they're right there with him. Momentarily confused, Jinwoo searches for them, only to be struck down by a sword slash and hammer blow, forcing him to his knees.
A familiar voice and a gentle touch on his back interrupt his pain. It's Song Chi-Yul, softly telling him, "You don't need to keep forcing yourself." Lee Joohee appears before him as well, urging him that it might be better to give up. Then, a chilling voice freezes him in place. It's his own voice from the past, cold and accusing, reminding him of the doubts and fears that plagued him when he was the weakest hunter. This haunting version of his former self confronts him, criticizing his efforts and suggesting that he's reached his limit. With a sinister smile, the apparition tempts him to surrender, challenging his resolve and urging him to abandon the fight.
