Dwarves - also called Bearded Dwarves - are a race of craftsmen.

Overview

Dwarves are distinguished by their bushy beards they possess, as well as their short but sturdy bodies. Despite their appearance, they tend to have surprisingly fiery and spirited personalities.

In the new timeline created by the Cup of Reincarnation, Sung Jinwoo had incorporated Dwarves into his Shadow Army.

Demon Monarch Successor Arc

After helping Esil Radiru in passing the succession ritual at the World Tree to become the Monarch of Gluttony, Suho still needed to find a way back to the tree in order to collect its fragments to make the Holy Water of Life to save his grandfather Sung Il-Hwan. But since the ritual was over they would have to traverse the Sea of The Afterlife in order to reach the World Tree.

Esil was confident she and her demons could safely endure the negative effects of the sea and locate the tree by scent. However they needed a method of transportation. Suho having previously extracted some souls from the Sea of The Afterlife, remembered them being Dwarves which he recalled from his childhood with his father. The young hunter then summoned them as Shadow Dwarves to build rafts for the demons using the flotsam materials found in the sea.

The Dwarves crafted several 'Rafts of the Afterlife' in the blink of an eye. Excited to see whether their creations would float, they eagerly launched them into the sea. One dwarf in particular showed exceptional enthusiasm, having built a 'Rowboat of the Afterlife'—an upgraded version of the standard raft. Dwarves even planned to construct a larger, more robust ship equipped with offensive and defensive capabilities.

However, Harmakan outpaced them by crafting a 'Demon Cannon' forged from 'Hellsteel'. A silent rivalry unfolded between Harmakan and the Shadow Dwarves, each attempting to outdo the other in ingenuity.

Abilities

While not a strong and extraordinary race, with poor combat abilities, dwarves are blacksmiths with exceptional talent in crafting. Their speed and skill in construction are remarkable—building multiple rafts was effortless for them and completed in mere moments.
