As they belong to the lowest rank on the ladder, E-Rank Hunters are only slightly stronger than normal humans and are pretty much useless at fighting against magic beasts due to how weak they are. As a result, they are usually viewed disdainfully by higher-ranking Hunters and typically receive very low wages.
The average E-Rank Hunter has a mana output of at least 70 when measured with mana meter technology.
