E-Rank is the lowest rank a hunter can be.
Overview
As they belong to the lowest rank on the ladder, E-Rank Hunters are only slightly stronger than normal humans and are pretty much useless fighting against magic beasts in dungeons due to how weak they are. As a result, they are usually viewed disdainfully by higher-ranking hunters and typically receive very low wages.
