Groctar (그록타르) was an orc warlord and the chief of the Red Blade Tribe.

Appearance

Groctar was a large and muscular green-skinned orc with long black hair, glowing red eyes, a large X-shaped scar on his chest, and dark red markings all over his body. He wielded a gray sword with a brownish-yellow hilt and wore a tattered black loincloth.

Personality

Due to the voices coming from the essence stone inside his body, Groctar was extremely murderous towards humans. He also looked down on high orcs and was disgusted that his warriors could not defeat them. He was also observant enough to correctly deduce that Jinwoo's orc shadows were all linked to Jinah and that they would disappear if she were to die.

Despite his extremely aggressive and arrogant demeanor, he was still capable of showing fear, as displayed when he lost his nerve after witnessing Jinwoo effortlessly slaughter his entire tribe.

History

While waiting inside his throne room, Groctar learned from one of his warriors that the others were getting pummeled by a trio of high orcs. Disgusted by their incompetence, Groctar decided to step in and take them down himself.

When the high orcs continued to regenerate and reform no matter how many times he cut them to pieces, Groctar realized that they were magically linked to someone in the room and deduced that that special someone was Jinah. With the voices in his head growing stronger, Groctar attempted to kill her by bashing in her skull, but before he could hurt her, he sensed a overwhelmingly powerful presence closing in fast from the outside. Realizing that they were in danger, Groctar immediately dropped Jinah to the ground and yelled at his warriors to retreat back to the gate just before Jinwoo and Kaisel came crashing through a nearby wall, sending debris flying everywhere.

Abilities

As a A-Rank magic beast, Groctar was a considerably powerful individual.

• Enhanced Strength: Groctar was able to easily overpower three shadow high orcs at once.
• Enhanced Sense of Smell: Much like the rest of his kind, Groctar is capable of sniffing out individuals with magical energy. However, his sense of smell is much stronger as he could differentiate the people as he realized Jin-Ah is the one connected with the Shadow Soldiers.
