Hollow Magicians(마법사) are dressed in complete mage robes and possess the unique ability to summon Knights, effectively acting as mob creators within the Job Change Quest Dungeon.
It is not known how powerful they are but it is assumed they are at most B-rank if not at least A-rank Magic Beast given how they were arised at the Elite-grade Shadow Soldier.
Plot[]
In the Job Change Quest Dungeon, the third challenge Sung Jinwoo encounters are the Magician class knights. These enemies utilize a variety of magical attacks, including detection spells specifically designed to counter Jinwoo's Stealth skill. The presence of these mages adds a layer of complexity to the challenge, as their support abilities, summoning magic, and lack of a direct counter from Jinwoo's arsenal make them formidable opponents.
These adversaries, equipped with staffs and magic, resemble the Mage class.
Appearance[]
They appear in the form of robes-wearing creatures with no face whatsoever and also holds a staff and a tome holstered to the hip. In addition to those, they have a winged pendant with blue gems pinned on the chest.
Abilities[]
- Blaze: A fire-elemental spell that launches a concentrated, high-temperature projectile or stream of mana-infused flame at a target. The Hollow Magicians use this ability to engage enemies from a distance, with the projectile's velocity and destructive power increasing with the caster's magical strength. Though visually simple, its efficiency as a basic offensive spell makes it a staple in a mage's arsenal.
- Detection: A sensory skill that allows the user to pinpoint the exact location of a target, even if they are hidden by cloaking abilities such as Stealth or obscured by environmental factors like darkness, fog, or magical concealment.
- Summoning Knights: A fundamental spell used by Hollow Magicians to bolster their ranks and overwhelm their opponents. Upon activation, the caster creates a swirling, ethereal portal from which an armored Hollow Knight emerges. The summoned knights are relentless, single-minded combatants with immense physical strength and durability. They wield various close-range weapons, such as swords, axes, spears, maces, etc and are covered in heavy armor that is difficult to penetrate.
