Ruler's Authority (지배자의 권능), also called Capture, is a telekinetic skill exclusive to the Rulers and their human vessels.
Overview
Ruler's Authority is a form of telekinesis unique to the Rulers and the humans who have been granted their powers. Given how strong the Rulers are, at full strength this skill is almost like a black hole in potency.[1] It also does not cost any mana to use and can be applied over a large radius, as displayed when Jinwoo used it to incapacitate Kandiaru's statues all at once,[2] and even on the surrounding event to a certain extent, enabling its users to move and dodge attacks while airborne.
However, despite how powerful and versatile this skill is, it has no effect in battle against superior opponents.
History
Jinwoo originally obtained a lesser version of this skill called Ruler's Hands from the rune stone that he got from defeating Igris. It would later evolve into Ruler's Authority and thus obtain its true strength during his battle with Kandiaru's statues in the Cartenon Temple.[2]
Trivia
- Despite the fact that all seven of the Rulers' vessels can use Ruler's Authority, only four individuals are ever shown using it in the story of Solo Leveling: Ashborn, Sung Jinwoo, Thomas Andre, and Kandiaru.
