Hunters Guild Strike Team B
A Strike Team, Strike Squad, or an Attack Force are a group of hunters who band together to enter gates and defeat dungeons. These teams are often diverse, composed of hunters from different classes and ranks, each bringing their unique skills and abilities to tackle the challenges within the gates.
They can function independently or as part of a guild, comprised of damage dealers like fighters, rangers, and tanks, alongside supportive roles such as healers and mages.
Alongside the Strike Team, it is possible for them to be accompanied by a mining team who will collect the Mana Crystals, and a collecting team who will recover the remains of magic beasts. The strike team may also have a Porter, a hunter tasked with carrying equipment such as weapons for the other members.
Known Strike Teams[]
Third Jeju Island Raid[]
The Third Jeju Island raid, involving hundreds of hunters, relied on the era's mightiest Korean S-Rank hunters, including Baek Yoonho, Min Byung-gu, Eunseok, and Choi Jong-In. They were tasked with the critical mission of retaking the island, but despite their combined abilities they encountered the overwhelming power of the ants. This led to their eventual failure, the tragic loss of Eunseok, and forced the team to retreat, marking the mission to reclaim the island as unsuccessful for a third time.
Double Dungeon Team[]
The Double Dungeon strike team, originally a group of low-level hunters striving to clear dungeons and earn a living, became notorious following the tragic Double Dungeon incident. This devastating event resulted in the survival of only 6 out of the 17 hunters who entered. Led by Song Chi-Yul, the most experienced among them, the team was not officially organized but rather an ad hoc amalgamation of available hunters at the time.
Hwang Dongsuk's Lizards[]
Hwang Dongsuk's strike team was comprised entirely of damage dealers, with no healers in their ranks. These hunters, colloquially termed as "lizards," operated with a ruthless strategy: recruiting low-rank hunters to fulfill the minimum required numbers for dungeon raids, only to betray them later, similar to a lizard's tactic of shedding its tail to escape danger. Dongsuk's Strike Team is not affiliated with any known Guild.
Jinho's Strike Team[]
Jinho's Strike Team was an unconventional group, formed with the purpose of clearing dungeons to establish his credentials as a Guild Master. Jinho recruited a range of hunters who, due to various reasons from injuries to personal issues, didn't typically participate in raids. The team included the young Han Song-Yi, who, despite being a school-aged minor, joined the raid due to her Awakened status. Jinho and Jinwoo cleared the gates themselves, using the team only to fulfill the eight-member threshold necessary for the raids, and they never participated.
Hunters Guild Team A & B[]
The Hunters Guild, being one of the largest and most powerful guilds in Korea, boasted enough members to form two distinct Strike Teams. The first team, A, was led by the Guild Master Choi Jong-In and Vice-Guild Master Cha Hae-In, and was composed of their greatest Hunters, reflecting their elite status. This team would tackle the highest-level gates for the guild.
Strike Team B, captained by Son Kihoon, is comprised of a formidable mix of 11 A-Rank and 6 B-Rank Hunters. Notable members include Lee Bora and Gina, who are mages, Han Semi a healer and Seo Jiwoo a fighter . While any other guild would have considered such members as their main attack force, in this guild, they were deemed second-tier—a testament to the exceptional caliber of the Hunters Guild.[1]
