Sung Suho is the son of the Sung Jinwoo and Cha Hae-In. He is also the main protagonist of Solo Leveling: Ragnarok.
Appearance
Suho is a teenage boy who looks a lot like his father, with the same black hair and sharp facial features. He also has blue eyes and an athletic build.
Personality
As a teenager, Suho displays little interest in things that bore him and don't get his blood pumping, especially his education. He also enjoys fighting and tends to get physical with any bullies who are stupid enough to pick on him, having garnered a reputation for it by the time he was in high school.[3]
As a toddler, Suho had a fascination with ants due to his friendship with Beru. Even after Jinwoo erased his memories of Beru, Suho did not lose this trait and his fascination with ants persisted to the point that he would draw them for fun and even make sure not to accidentally step on them as a child.[4]
History
Academy Arc
As Jinwoo's son, Suho first manifested his abilities when he was a toddler, which shocked his mother and prompted his father to start to train him on how to use them. However, when Suho's powers grew to the point that his classmates started shunning him and his teachers began to realize that something wasn't right about him, Jinwoo was forced to seal his powers and suppress his memories of them until he learned how to get along with people in the real world.[5]
Ragnarok
As a college student, Suho decided to major in art and tended to draw pictures of monstrous-looking ants for his class assignments. When asked about this by his art professor, he admitted that he'd always had a strong fascination with ants ever since he was a child, something that he never understood himself since he didn't know why. Despite having had his powers sealed away by his father as a toddler, Suho would often have strange dreams at night of him fighting vicious monsters of supernatural origin, not knowing that these battles actually happened during the many times that Jinwoo tested his abilities in the past.
Abilities
As the son of the Shadow Monarch, Suho is one of the strongest humans alive. By the time he was in high school, he had already far surpassed the average S-Rank Hunter in power and was so strong by that point that only Jinwoo could defeat him in a one-on-one battle. However, as powerful as he is, Suho has still yet to reach his full potential, as noted by Igris.
- Immense Strength: Suho possesses immense physical strength. As a testament to this, he was able to overpower Bellion during their first fight[6] and even hold his own against Jinwoo for a brief period of time. His strength also enabled him to climb the floors of the Demon Castle at a significantly faster rate than Jinwoo was able to during his time as the Player of the System, despite not having any soldiers to assist him, and kill Vulcan with just a few blows.[7]
- Immense Speed: Suho is incredibly fast and can move at immense speeds, as shown by how he was agile enough to keep up with his father's movements (albeit for a brief period of time) during their battle.
